According to the GlobalWebindex study, 6 out of 10 millennials (22-35 years) are willing to pay a higher ticket for green and sustainable products.
According to The circularity gap report, the world economy was half a percentage point less circular in 2017 than two years earlier, with reuse and recycling rates rising from 9.1% to 8.6%.
After the financial crisis of 2008, economists began to deal with the concept of the black swan (events that occur by surprise, that have a strong negative or catastrophic impact but that, in retrospect, seem to be very predictable). Last week, the Bank for International Settlements, based in Basel, Switzerland, published the book ‘The Green Swan’, a title that refers to the financial crisis caused by climate change. According to this research, the predictive models of the past are not designed to respond to this new threat.
